Arteflame Classic 40" Fire Pit

The Arteflame Classic 40" Fire Pit is an open wood-burning fire pit with a sculpted 40" CORTEN bowl that weathers to a warm, rust-colored patina. It sits at 22" on a low base, or without a base for a built-in installation. Design and materials

The bowl is 10-gauge CORTEN (weathering) steel, about 3.4 mm thick. Many fire pits are 14-gauge mild steel, about 1.9 mm, protected only by paint; CORTEN forms its own protective patina and needs no paint or coating.

Care

Let the ash cool completely, then remove it. The CORTEN bowl needs no paint or sealing. Place it on a non-combustible surface and follow local fire rules and clearances.
