That’s why we designed the Rover Vans Tire Carrier + Ladder to move your spare tire outside the van while adding convenient access to your roof rack and rooftop gear.

The system mounts using the factory rear-door hinges and features integrated foot pegs with generous, boot-friendly spacing to make climbing around the tire easier and more secure.

A hinge limiter strap is included to help prevent overextension and potential damage to the rear door, and the system also includes a license plate relocation kit for a clean, complete installation.

The current design uses a single-hole-through-door mounting system, which helps control vibration while maintaining normal door operation. Unlike some competing systems, the Rover design does not require cutting the factory weather stripping or relocating the door striker.

We also include a door reinforcement to strengthen the mounting area and help distribute loads more effectively over long-term use.

The result is a cleaner, more integrated installation engineered around the ProMaster door rather than forcing the van to adapt to the carrier.
