FA25  /  Essential Series  /  DryDock Base

Move the air.
Skip the sealant.

A 12" ten-blade fan on a five-speed motor, sitting on a base that stays bolted and sealed to your roof. Ventilate now, upgrade later — without ever reopening the hole.

47 dB 10 BLADES 5 SPEEDS REVERSIBLE 2× SOLAR PORTS

Heat, condensation and cooking smells all end up in the same place: the ceiling. The Fan-Tastic Vent Essential moves them out fast and quietly, then reverses to pull cool evening air back in. Underneath it, the DryDock base does the part nobody enjoys — it takes the sealant, the screws and the roof penetration once, and keeps them.

Reversible blade direction

One fan, two jobs

Flip the direction and the same blade either pushes hot air out or draws fresh air in. Pair it with a cracked window or a second vent and you get a controllable cross-draught instead of a stuffy box.

EXHAUST  —  BLADES UP
Push the hot air out

Clears steam after a shower, smoke off the stove, and the heat that stacks up under the roof on a parked afternoon.

INTAKE  —  BLADES DOWN
Pull the cool air in

Draws cool night air straight over the bed, or feeds fresh air in while a rear vent or window does the exhausting.

47
DECIBELS

Quiet enough to sleep under

Ten blades move the same air with less blade-pass noise than a coarser six-blade wheel, and the second lift arm keeps the dome from drumming when it’s breezy. On the low speeds it disappears into the background.

Five speeds give you the range between barely-there overnight circulation and clearing a hot van in a couple of minutes.

DryDock base

Seal the roof once

The base carries the sealant and the fasteners. The fan unit lives on top of it and lifts off. When you want a different model later, or a service unit goes in, the roof penetration never gets touched.

STEP 1
Base goes down
Bedded, sealed and fastened to the roof. This is the only time sealant goes down.
STEP 2
Fan drops in
The unit sets onto the base and locks down. No new holes, no drilling.
STEP 3
Swap it later
Upgrade or service by lifting the unit off. The sealed base stays exactly where it is.
Dual integrated ports

The cable entry is already in the roof

Two pass-throughs are built into the base, so solar leads, an internet antenna, a TV coax or exterior lighting can come inside through a fitting that’s already sealed. That’s a roof gland you don’t have to buy, cut for, or worry about later.

Details that show up on the road

Dual integrated solar pass-through ports on the Dometic FA25 base
Two cable ports, pre-sealed
Solar, internet, TV and lighting cable route through the base instead of through another hole in your roof.
DryDock base allows the fan to be upgraded without resealing the roof
Upgrade without resealing
The DryDock base stays bolted and sealed. Swap the fan without pulling butyl or drilling fresh holes.
Reversible fan direction for intake or exhaust ventilation
Airflow you point
Reverse the blades to draw fresh air in or push stale, humid air out — five speeds either way.
Tool-free dome removal and magnetic fly screen for cleaning
No tools to clean it
The dome comes off by hand and the fly screen is magnetic — lift it out, rinse it, put it back.
Dual lift arms add rigidity to the raised dome
Two lift arms, not one
A second arm takes the flex out of the raised dome, which is what stops the rattle on a windy night.
Durable construction built for repeated seasons of use
Built for the long season
UV-exposed parts and a simple, serviceable motor assembly made to run summer after summer.
