Fuel supplies the heat; 12V electricity runs the heater’s electronics and airflow. It complements the FreshJet heat pump with a separate heating option when you want to reserve battery energy for other loads.

  • Barometric altitude compensation adjusts the air/fuel mix.

Battery runtime depends on usable capacity, weather, insulation, settings, and other loads. Appliance output ratings are not electrical consumption figures. This bundle description does not establish the contents of an installation kit.

Why pair a heat pump with a fuel-fired heater?

They give you two heating options. The heat pump uses electrical energy; the VELIT heater gets its heat from the selected fuel while still needing electricity to operate. Choose the option that suits the conditions and your available energy. Heat-pump performance changes with outdoor temperature, and each appliance must stay within its operating limits.

What is included in this bundle?
