Introducing DAS Mk 1 - a custom-designed and hand-forged 3 finger camping and general purpose knife, crafted by ABS Journeyman Bladesmith and Forged in Fire Champion, Steve Grosvenor. This rugged tool is forged from durable 80crV2 carbon steel, expertly tempered to 61-62 HRC for peak performance. Designed with a nod to classic bushcrafting, its ergonomic features include a full tang for strength, a wider handle, and a thumb rise with jimping for a secure grip.

The blade’s design draws inspiration from Horace Sowers Kephart, one of the nation’s early authors and an original bushcrafter, blending historical craftsmanship with modern utility. The handle, crafted from micarta, is secured with marine-grade epoxy and bronze pins, and the blade features a protective Parkerized finish.

This knife comes with a custom-designed leather sheath, making it the perfect blend of functionality and artisan craftsmanship, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and practical users alike.
