Description:

This sliding door storage step is designed to finish the factory sliding door step area on 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter vans while adding practical storage space to your build. It creates a cleaner transition at the entry point and provides a sturdy surface for getting in and out of the van.

The built in storage cubby gives you a convenient place to store small gear, tools, straps, recovery items, shoes, or other frequently used accessories without taking up cabinet or floor space. The powder coated finish helps protect against corrosion, wear, and daily use.

The step is designed to work with common van flooring setups from 1/2" to 1 1/4" thick. For thicker subfloors or vans with factory tolerance differences, minor trimming, shimming, or added trim support may be required for proper fitment.

Important Fitment Note:
Due to factory manufacturing variation, Sprinter sliding doors may vary in width by up to 22 mm. Most vans fall within normal tolerance, but minor trimming may be required in select cases for the best fit.

For subfloors thicker than 1 1/4", this step can still be used with an additional trim piece between the bottom lip of the storage step and the factory step. Shims may also be needed between the storage step and the factory step to fill any gaps and provide proper support.

If the corner of the storage step contacts the sliding door rubber seal, lightly grinding the corner may be required to create proper clearance.
